Dan Miller — Church Council President
Dan was born and raised in Boonsboro, Maryland. He moved to Funkstown, Maryland when he married a Funkstown girl and joined St. Paul's in 1955. He was Management Informations Systems Senior Analyst for Fairchild Aircraft Corp. in Hagerstown, MD for 13 years and retired as Procurement Statistical Manager for Lockheed-Martin in Baltimore.
Dan has served as Council President for three previous terms, was a member of the New Church Building Committee, the Evangelism, Finance and Fellowship/Activities committees. He was a member of the Chancel Choir and enjoyed being a member of the Men's Gospel Quartet.
He is a long time (50 years) square dance caller, which has taken him to Camp David, The Pentagon, The House of Representatives, Germany and many parts of the United States. His wife, Charlotte, a retired Motel, Convenience Store and Restaurant Owner, is chairperson of the Fellowship/Activities committee. She and Dan are blessed with 5 children and 10 grandchildren. Dan feels blessed to share the gift of God's love while knowing God guides us and provides us with generous hearts and willing hands to make a difference.
