Michael Louia — Pastor

 

Pastor Mike began serving St. Paul’s in July 2009.  A graduate of the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg, Pastor Mike moved to Funkstown, with his wife, Nancy, and daughter, Megan soon after beginning his call.  In addition to serving at St. Paul’s, he is the pastoral advisor for the Washington County Coalition of Lutherans and serves on the Ravenwood/Robinwood Advisory Board.

 

  Dan Miller — Church Council President

 

Dan was born and raised in Boonsboro, Maryland.  He moved to Funkstown, Maryland when he married a Funkstown girl and joined St. Paul's in 1955.  He was Management Informations Systems Senior Analyst for Fairchild Aircraft Corp. in Hagerstown, MD for 13 years and retired as Procurement Statistical Manager for Lockheed-Martin in Baltimore. 

Dan has served as Council President for three previous terms, was a member of the New Church Building Committee, the Evangelism, Finance and Fellowship/Activities committees.  He was a member of the Chancel Choir and enjoyed being a member of the Men's Gospel Quartet. 

He is a long time (50 years) square dance caller, which has taken him to Camp David, The Pentagon, The House of Representatives, Germany and many parts of the United States.  His wife, Charlotte, a retired Motel, Convenience Store and Restaurant Owner, is chairperson of the Fellowship/Activities committee.  She and Dan are blessed with 5 children and 10 grandchildren. Dan feels blessed to share the gift of God's love while knowing God guides us and provides us with generous hearts and willing hands to make a difference.

 

 

Walt & Betty Cline — Custodians

Walt and Betty have been the custodians of St. Paul's for 10 years.  They have six grown children and many grandchildren. 

They are both active in the life of the church.  Betty is a member of the Social Ministry Committee, Chancel Choir and former member of the Church Council.  Walt is a member of the Property Committee.

They are both retired.  They volunteer at the American Legion in Funkstown, at the V.A. Hospital and are involved in children's programs.  In addition to their hard work at the church, they also mow lawns for some older

 

Carol Ann Rossman — Church Secretary

 

 

Carol Ann Rossman began serving St. Paul's as our church secretary in July 2010.

 

A life-long resident of Hagerstown, Carol Ann is married to Gary Rossman. Carol Ann has one son, Matthew, who lives in Seattle, Washington.

 

In addition to volunteering at her congregation, Carol Ann enjoys walking, reading, fishing and being outdoors.  She is excited and glad to be serving at St. Paul's.
